Passion Cantatas of the Baroque
Join us to hear Passion Cantatas of the Baroque by J.S. Bach, Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber, Dietrich Buxtehude and G.Ph. Telemann.
The cantatas on our program feature the voices of Molly Quinn, soprano, Jenifer L. Smith, alto, and John Fowler, baritone, accompanied by 2 violins and a continuo ensemble of organ, baroque cello and theorbo. Violinist Marika Holmqvist will also play "The Crucifixion" from Biber's Mystery Sonatas.
