Lashings World XI Cricket Match
As part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations in Chenies, the Internationally reknowned Lashings World XI Cricket Team are coming to town to play a Chenies Guest XI on Monday 4th June 2012.
Captain Phil Defreitas will be leading the Lashings Team who will include Devon Malcolm, John Emburey and many other International Cricket stars.
Meanwhile the Chenies Guest XI includes Midsomer Murder stars Neil Dudgeon (DCI Barnaby) and Jason Hughes (DS Jones) as well as other locally known cricketers.
Live commentary will be provided around the ground by Henry 'Blowers' Blofeld of Test Match Special and Radio 5 Live fame.
To round it all off there will be Brass Bands, Childrens Entertainment and a Flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight's Dakota during the match!
Once the Cricket has finished we will be holding a Beacon Party at the Cricket Club for all to join, with live music, fireworks and several food outlets and bars it will be a night to remember!
