Wild or reverent, quirky or soulful, ImproVox performances are never the same twice. Performance includes songs, stories, and soundscapes created on the spot, integrating formally prepared music and regularly inviting audience involvement. Original, imaginative, quirky, deeply musical and fun!

Amazing harmonies both familiar and strange, fierce and gentle flow from the voices of Zemya, a women's A Capella vocal ensemble that shares both name and spirit with the Bulgarian word for "earth." Zemya brings diverse singing traditions from around the world to audiences throughout Maine. Travel with these spirited women into Eastern Europe, South Africa, the British Isles and the Americas and celebrate the overwhelming intensity of global music.
