Michelle Penn
Michelle Penn is a true chick rocker, proud to continue the tradition established by Chrissie Hynde, Joan Jett and Sheryl Crow. The Detroit native grew up listening to Aerosmith in one ear and Bob Seger in the other, and she embraced a rock & roll attitude from the get-go. The indie artist writes, produces and performs all original music. Her five CD releases feature guest musicians Brandon Bush (Train, John Mayer, Sugarland), Adam Seymour (The Pretenders), Todd Wolfe (Sheryl Crow), and Jeff Cease (The Black Crowes). All songs are available on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby. Penn's unique sound and onstage charisma have landed her several nationwide tours, where she's shared stages with John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Sarah McLachlan and The Go-Go's. Michelle's latest project "Welcome Me Home" has received national acclaim in connection with its support of military families.
