Spires That in the Sunset Rise, International Novelty Gamelan & Paul Metzger
On April 14th, Madison outfit Spires That In The Sunset Rise will be making a rare Minneapolis appearance in support of their new LP "Ancient Patience Wills It Again." The BLB theatre will provide a perfect environment for the duo's darkly evocative musical witchcraft. Also playing will be two of the area's most unique acts: Paul Metzger and the International Novelty Gamelan. Paul's inhuman virtuosity and flair for adapting and mutating his instruments will be complemented perfectly by the ING's challenging modern compositions for the instruments known for their percussive beauty in their usual traditional Javanese setting. A rare opportunity to see these three acts in such an intimate and theatrical setting.
