Spin Quartet at CMA Gallery

The Spin Quartet
Chad McCullough: Trumpet
Geof Bradfield: Saxes
Clark Sommers: Bass
Kobie Watkins: Drums

The brainchild of trumpeter Chad McCullough, The Spin Quartet is a modern jazz powerhouse. Featuring Kobie Watkins on drums (who tours regularly with tenor sax legend Sonny Rollins), Clark Sommers on bass (Grammy-winning, for his work with Kurt Elling), and Geof Bradfield (one of the top-call saxophonists working today), this all-star group uses the chord-less quartet setting with breathtaking intensity.
