Public Skating & Bikes On Ice Benefit
Join us for our third annual Public Skating & Bikes On Ice Benefit, now moved indoors to the Biddeford Ice Arena on March 10th, 11:30-2:30pm! Borrow a CBC original Ice Bike or fabricate your own for the "all-in-good-fun" races. Feed your competitive spirit by racing in an age-appropriate division. Don't feel like racing? Lace up your skates for public skating, or grab some popcorn and watch the races from the bleachers.
Tickets cost $5
The more creative the ice bike, the better...bottle caps or pan-head screws for studs, zip-ties, hockey blades, studded trikes....anything goes!!
We will be hosting free studded tire workshops Tuesdays and Wednesdays, February 21st - March 10th, 2-5pm. Adults are welcome to use the shop for tire studding anytime 9-5pm, M-F, just call ahead! Cost is $12 to pay for the screws required for two tires (store bought studded tires will run you anywhere from $70-$90 for a set!) The workshop and tires are free!
