IMAGOmoves / SOMA / LUX
Artistic Director and choreographer Yolande Snaith brings together a diverse group of collaborators for a unique performance experience, combining innovative, evocative contemporary dance and live music, within an environment of animated visual imagery, transience, light and shadow. Part two of a series of works titled The Mapping Games, SOMA/LUX poetically navigates embodied and imagined territories of 'body and light' within a visceral, visual and sonic field of sensorial states. This new work features San Diego dancers Anne Gehman, Gina Bolles Sorensen, Kyle Sorensen, Angel Acuña, Andromeda Bradley, and Kris Apple, production designer Victoria Petrovich, lighting designer Omar Ramos, with music by Kris Apple with Andromeda Bradley.
