Powerhouse Country Folk Singer-Songwriter Duff MacDonald will present a night of original material from his new hit album ROOTS accompanying himself on guitar. In the mix also you'll hear cover tunes from Adele, Joseph Arthur, Ray LaMontagne, Martin Sexton, Hank Williams Sr., Gordon Lightfoot and Emmylou Harris to name a few
Duff is a powerhouse, versatile singer-songwriter originally from Saskatchewan - now residing in Toronto. He has appeared in venues all across Canada from Vancouver to The Maritimes. His new solo debut album ROOTS is a mix of Country, Folk Rock, Gospel and Roots. His new CD was released this past year and has sold world-wide with airplay in Canada, U.S and Europe. Duff is is a seasoned performer of the stage, radio and television, acting in over 30 musicals and plays across Canada and the USA. He has also appeared in several national and international commercials . You are sure to have seen him in film and television roles like Cinderella Man, Foolproof, The Music Man, Jane Doe, G-Spot and John Woo's Once a Thief.
On Stage he was seen in Les Miserables (Original Canadian Cast), Hank Williams -The Show He Never Gave, Batboy and the Broadway North American tour of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels plus numerous others!
