Paloma is a precocious 11-year-old Parisian. Disaffected and bored by her family's bourgeois existence, she plans suicide on her 12th birthday. Her plot hits a snafu when she begins observing two eccentric adults living in her building. Their quirky authenticity and life force are the perfect antidotes to the malaise that grips this young cynic.
