Spring Fling!
Our second annual community concert will showcase the outstanding talents of Conservatory Lab students through orchestral and choral performances.
Featuring celebrated Boston comedian Tom Hayes as MC, students will present highlights from their work in El Sistema music ensembles and Learning Expeditions.
2:00pm Pre-concert activities will include:
- An interactive Music and Movement demonstration, led by Resident Artists and students from the K1 class
- Paper Orchestra presentation, led by El Sistema Program Director Rebecca Levi and students from the K2 class
- A Gallery of Expeditionary Learning documentation panels, led by classroom teachers
3:00pm Concert featuring vocal and instrumental performances by students from the Abreu, Bernstein, and Dudamel ensembles.
Proceeds from this concert will support the El Sistema music program at Conservatory Lab.
