Accordant Commons
Accordant Commons is a contemporary vocal chamber music group dedicated to the performance, collaboration, and fostering of new forms of vocal writing and expression. Founded by the multifaceted vocalists Stephanie Aston and Argenta Walther, Accordant Commons has a flexible roster of performers and composers involved in its projects. The 2015-2016 season of Accordant Commons features concerts co-presented with People Inside Electronics, New Music San Diego and Automata, Los Angeles, sharing with audiences a rich and exciting breadth of newly composed vocal chamber music.
This program features works combining voices and electronics by David Coll, Michael Edward Edgerton, Chen-Hui Jen, Jon Christopher Nelson, Pauline Oliveros, and a new commission by composer/vocalist Odeya Nini.
