Mozart Magic +
The Valley Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Michael H. Arshagouni, presents a "can't-miss" program of two great works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Sinfonia Concertante in Eb, K.364 and Requiem, K.622 - and the World Premiere of Ross Wright's Asking for Kaddish Suite (words by Kristin Zethren). Mozart's Requiem is one of the world's most popular pieces of choral music, and the Sinfonia Concertante in Eb for violin and viola is one of the most evocative. Joining the VSO in the Requiem and Asking for Kaddish Suite will be the accalimed Metropolitan Master Chorale (Glenn Carlos, director). Soloists for the Sinfonia Concertante are the impressive Eric KM Clark, violin, and Beth Elliott, viola.
