Symphony Parnassus - Spring Concert
Come share in a wonderful musical event with Symphony Parnassus.
The concert, guest conducted by Dawn Harms, features Copland's majestic Fanfare for the Common Man and Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier Suite, including the breathtaking trio and duo sung by renowned sopranos Frederica von Stade, Melody Moore and Nadine Sierra. Also featured is the world premiere of Brazilian composer Clarice Assad's "Scattered," for scat singer, piano and orchestra. The program concludes with Howard Hanson's sweeping Symphony No. 2 "Romantic." It promises to be an afternoon of memorable musical moments!
