MotherJudge and the Urban Holiness Society
Albany's own Americana alt-folk diva MotherJudge performs, writes and produces music. Drawing from influences that range from the country blues of Hank Williams and Ray Charles to swampy rhythms and deep gospel soul, MotherJudge has a special love for ballads and the voice to convey every nuance of emotion in the story. Painterly lyrics, soaring vocals and generous arrangements supported by great musicians showcase a broad songbook of originals and well-chosen covers.
