19-year-old violinist Stephen Waarts has been applauded for his "uncommon, preternatural sense of tonal color and lyrical beauty on the instrument" (Washington Post). A multi-award winner, Waarts is the Frank S. Bayley Fellow at the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studies with Aaron Rosand.
The program will include works by Beethoven, Bartók, Ysaÿe, Massenet, Kreisler and Ravel, and feature Chelsea Wang on piano. (Please note: program is subject to change at the discretion of the artist.)
