Since The Talking heads will most likely never tour again, there is Same As It Ever Was. This seven-piece band brings the excitement and energy of everything from '77, to Stop Making Sense, all the way to Naked. Brought together by there mutual love and respect for the Talking Heads well over six years ago, this Knoxville based band has been playing clubs all over the southeast and mid-west, including 5 straight sold out shows at The Dame in Lexington, KY, shows at Zydeco in Birmingham, Exit/In in Nashville, The Charleston Pourhouse in SC, and LiveWire Savannah, GA, The Georgia Theatre in Athens, and many others.
