Saratoga Orchestra's New Worlds, New Visions
New Worlds, New Visions kicks off the season with concerts in Langley and Oak Harbor on October 24 and 25. Aided by a Women's Philharmonic Advocacy Grant, the orchestra will be presenting two works by rarely heard composer Lili Boulanger as well as a performance of Elgar's Cello Concerto in E minor with the youthfully dynamic cellist Lavena Johanson as soloist, and Dvorak's Symphony #9, Op.95 "From the New World."
