Mark McGregor
Described as a musician of "huge physical energy," flutist Mark Takeshi McGregor has been lauded by the press as "mind-blowing" and "verging on the superhuman." McGregor will perform an all Canadian program of contemporary flute music. This concert will include the world premiere of a new work for alto flute and electronics by Toronto composer Gregory Lee Newsome, and Stefan Maier. The program will be rounded out with pieces by West Coast and Victoria composers.
