Hueso de Perro's Grindhouse
Alexia Anastasio, New York artist/filmmaker/actress and documentarian behind "Adventures in Plymptoons," (http://www.alexiaanastasio.com/) shows some of her off-beat works to warm-up for the Boulder International Film Festival.
Alexia will show her mockumentary "The 7 Deadly Sins," in which our heroine infiltrates the dangerous E-Comm cult, featuring nonother than the Godfather of gore, Mr. Herschell Gordon Lewis. The cast also includes such notables as Smokey Miles a.k.a. Count Smokula as Doctor Smoke, Mo Whelan as The Infomercial Lady and Kevin Sean Michaels (Vampira: The Movie).
Also on the agenda, computer animation by Jason Hogan, video essay by former Boulder Weekly A& E editor Dale Bridges nd a smoke-jumping documentary by Todd Bradley.
Adult material (including nudity) will be shown after 8 p.m.
