As part of the continuing RMI Concert Series, "Jack Walker & Friends" will appear at Green Valley Ranch Resort on April 8 and Aliante Station Casino & Hotel on April 22. Walker's "friends" in April's concert series include singer/actor Lou De Meis and Virtuoso concert pianist Garin Bader. Jack Walker is a high energy, variety vocal entertainer. Born and raised in Scotland, Walker has appeared on BBC and Scottish television. After arriving in the U.S., he made his home in Las Vegas and became the principal male vocalist in two long-running Las Vegas production shows, "Jubilee!" at Bally's and "Les Follies Bergeres" at the Tropicana. He has thrilled audiences worldwide with performances for major corporations and on prestigious cruise lines (http://www.jackwalker.com).
Lou De Meis has worked as a singer/actor on both coasts throughout his career. He worked primarily on the East Coast and Canada, until a few years ago when he moved to Las Vegas. He has appeared in many films and commercials and worked in many professional musicals and theatre. His favorite roles include Billy Flynn in "Chicago" and the title role in "Dracula." Other theatre credits include the roles of El Gallo in "The Fantasticks," Herr Schultz in "Cabaret," Henry II in "The Lion in Winter" and Judas in "Jesus Christ Superstar." In the 1990s, he worked for an extended time with Barry Manilow and has performed in most of the casinos in Atlantic City.
Garin Bader A virtuoso concert pianist, Garin Bader, is the winner of 13 international piano competitions and performs live piano concerts around the world from Carnegie Hall to the London Palladium, the famed Hollywood Magic Castle and Las Vegas. He is also a master magician and the creator of the stunning one-of-a-kind show, "Musical Magic," that combines music, amazing magic illusions and story-telling. A dynamic and highly acclaimed artist, Bader mesmerizes audiences of all ages with his unique fusion of magic with the music of Phantom of the Opera to Mozart to pop.
All shows begin at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. The cover charge (cash and credit) for each show is $15 (tax inclusive) at the door.
