We conclude our season with a world premiere by Boston-area composer Richard St. Clair. Written and revised over a 20-year period, "Dharma Chant: A Buddhist Oratorio in Three Parts" tells the story of a deeply personal search for enlightenment. Based on spiritual texts, including the Buddha's celebrated teachings on lovingkindness, this moving work is both inspiring and uplifting. Weaving vocal lines of counterpoint and canon in a rich tapestry of four-part a cappella, this is an exciting new addition to the choral repertoire and a concert not to be missed.
