Carole Pope's work has been recognized with three Juno Awards (the Canadian Grammy), multiple independent music awards, and a Genie Award (the Canadian Oscar) She's been awarded 4 gold, 1 platinum and 1 double platinum album. Her music has appeared in The L Word, General Idea Art Aids and the fin de siecle, The Trailer Park Boys Movie, Queer As Folk, This Revolution, Miami Vice, Cruising, and numerous TV shows. The film rights for Pope's autobiography Anti Diva published by Random House have been optioned and a film is in development. Her new album Landfall featuring a duet with Rufus Wainwright and a co-write with Hawksley Workman is available on iTunes, Amazon, and www.carolepope.com.
