Civil Disobedience: The Musical
After the publishing and OFF-BROADWAY run of "Prop 8 Love Stories" (Critics' Pick - Time Out New York; "High high praise!" ~Anna Deavere Smith") Walking ELEPHANT Theatre Company is proud to present its next original documentary theatre & film project "CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE - THE MUSICAL"
Actors 8 to 18 years old interviewed brilliant, charismatic people about civil disobedience. Now watch these young actors portray them, word for word, live - on stage, with original songs and movement pieces.
The cast also attended General Assemblies, marches, rallies, and City Council Meetings at Occupy Santa Rosa, Occupy Petaluma, and Occupy Sebastopol.
