SOUNDS OF TUCSON
Tucson Festival of Films and Tucson Film & Music Festival present SOUNDS OF TUCSON
NORTH AMERICAN PREMIERE
The music generated in Detroit, Seattle and Manchester is legendary. Now Tucson Arizona is emerging as the city forging a new musical beat. At the crossroads between the excitement of South America and the raw rock of the USA, between east and west, the city led by Howe Gelb (Giant Sand) and Joey Burns (Calexico) has become a draw for many musicians generating an abundance of new sounds. SOUNDS OF TUCSON is a musical journey into this new Eldorado. Featuring Howe Gelb, Joey Burns, Billy Sedlmayr, Al Foul, Gabriel Sullivan, Brian Lopez, Pork Torta, Tom Walbank, and Los Mariachis Luz de Luna.
FESTIVAL EXCLUSIVE Director Guillaume Dero and musical guests in attendance for post-screening Q&A and live jam.
