A Muslim Childhood Moumen Smihi / Morocco / Feature Film / 2006 Larbi, a child of 1950s Tangiers, straddles traditional and contemporary cultures within his daily milieu of the local Koranic and French secondary schools. Yet it is in a third setting, the forbidden international quarter and its fantasy world of cinema, that he begins to discover himself.
