Qater Al Nada / Heart and Spirit / El Tanbura, Capturing a Vanishing Spirit
Qater Al Nada Muayad Mousa Alayan / Palestine / Short Film / 2007 Qater Al-Nada is a self-created and self-taught dance troupe in Beit Safafa, the only Arab neighborhood remaining in West Jerusalem. Directed by a former San Francisco resident, the film follows troupe members as they practice and teach Debkeh - the traditional Palestinian stomp dance.
