Cayuga Chamber Orchestra: Chamber Music Series #8
Our final chamber music concert of the season includes two completely different composers, representing two very different areas of the chamber music world. This piano quartet by Brahms is one of the most masterful examples of the genre. Just as rich with interplay between the voices, but in an extremely different character, is the Bach piece for woodwind quintet
JAN BACH: Skizzen (Sketches) for Woodwind Quintet In Honor of Percy Browning*
BRAHMS: Piano Quartet No. 3 in C Minor, Op 60
*Percy Browning has been a longtime supporter and dear friend of the CCO. We are deeply grateful for her generosity, her continuous involvement, and our meaningful relationship that has lasted for many seasons. In honor of her recent milestone birthday, we've programmed certain pieces for our Chamber Music Series with her passion for new music in mind. From all of us at the CCO, Happy Birthday, Percy!
