CHAI Collaborative Ensemble: Persichetti@100: Selected Songs, Parables and Piano Works of Vincent Persichetti
In celebration of the centenary anniversary of American composer Vincent Persichetti's birth, members of CHAI Collaborative Ensemble will present selected art songs and instrumental parables by Persichetti. Joining us as a special guest is Chicago-based pianist and composer Myron Silberstein, who has championed Persichetti's work by performing recitals of his piano works in Chicago and beyond. Silberstein will present some of Persichetti's selected piano works, in addition to the songs and parables you will hear. Please join us for a concert of witty, delightful, and rarely performed musical gems!
