I'M CAROLYN PARKER: THE GOOD, THE MAD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Within months of Hurricane Katrina, Jonathan Demme and Daniel Wolff began documenting New Orleans' residents who were demanding their "right to return" to the city they loved. After five years of regular visits, the filmmakers have produced the first of a series of profiles, focusing on a fiercely determined, inspiring woman named Carolyn Parker. Her struggle to rebuild her home and life transcends her surroundings to become a film about an unlikely American hero.
