The high-octane, 10-member group channels the current sound of Havana, so much so that their second album was nominated for a Cubadisco Award (Cuba's equivalent of a GRAMMY) in the popular dance music categorya rare honor for a U.S.-based band! They've toured internationally, playing at major festivals across Europe, South America and the U.S. TIMBALIVE is "la mezcla perfecta" of melody and attitude, novelty and tradition, and every aspect of their inimitable sound, from lyrics to arrangements to breaks, is made with the dancer in mind.
