Lichi Fuentes with Donna Viscusso & Hugo Wainzinger
Lichi's gorgeous vocals and moving lyrics have touched hearts and inspired Bay Area audiences since the 1980s. One of the finest Latin American female voices in the Bay Area, Lichi Fuentes is a multi-instrumentalist known for her strong voice and commitment to social justice. She is an established voice in the Bay Area's Latin American new song scene who has been described as a natural vocalist whose "commitment to social justice is a tangible force in her music." (SF Bay Guardian). Founder and lead vocalist of the group Altazor, Lichi is currently musical director of La Peña's Community Chorus and teaches music at elementary schools in the Bay Area.
