Green Guest Artist Concert Saturday, April 16, 2016 7:30 p.m. Green Center, Kresge Auditorium
Our artists-in-residence, the New York City-based chamber ensemble Decoda, concludes this season's residency and our Green Guest Artist series with a celebrative Saturday night concert, featuring members of every instrument family and arrangements by Decoda musicianson a program inspired by Stravinsky's "A Soldier's Tale." Participating artists on the April 16 concert will be:
Anna Elashvili, violin, Evan Premo, double bass Alicia Lee, clarinet Seth Baer, bassoon Brandon Ridenour, trumpet Stephen Dunn, trombone Jared Soldiviero, percussion
PROGRAM: Bach/arr. Ridenour -- Agnus Dei Stravinsky -- L'Histoire du soldat Wynton Marsalis -- A Fiddler's Tale Jacob Gade/arr. Elashvili -- Jealousy Louis Armstrong/arr. Ridenour -- Cornet Chop Suey
