NEQ Season 5 Concert 5A
By the time Beethoven wrote his Quartet in A minor, Op. 132, he had left his teacher Haydn and indeed some of his Viennese audience far behind to explore a new world of sound that only he, deaf for years, could have imagined. The New Esterházy Quartet play also Haydn's stormy Op. 33, No. 1 in B minor and a quartet by Anton Wranitzky.
