Diverse Harmony - Travelin' Thru
Diverse Harmony invites you to its January 2012 concert "Travelin' Thru." In this concert, we celebrate both the physical and (frequently) emotional journeys that we experience throughout our lives. Many of the songs are near and dear to our youth's hearts, because many of our performers ultimately have to leave the chorus because of work, school, or age. In addition, many of us can understand how our journeys can be both exciting and isolating. Please join us for a high-energy, upbeat show that includes: Go The Distance, Sittin' On The Dock, Take The A-Train, and Midnight Train To Georgia. We hope to see you there!
Youth and Sponsored Youth Ticket Program
Diverse Harmony provides a safe, affirming environment where everyone is accepted for who they are. We use the passion and power of music to inspire the celebration of difference in our homes, community and the world. Since it began in 2002, Diverse Harmony has welcomed youth, ages 22 and younger, to attend its shows for free. Purchasing a Sponsored Youth Ticket helps support the Youth Ticket program and sustains this outreach program. If you are not purchasing a Sponsored Youth Ticket for a particular youth, please enter General Youth in the name field and we will make sure to get the ticket to a youth in our community!
Because of your generous gifts, youth who face daily discrimination have a place to call home when they attend a Diverse Harmony concert. For many, it's a life-changing and positive experience.
