We are back again this Tuesday for another summer night for a little thing we like to call the "Dog Days of August"! But first, some background...

Come on down to one Vancouver's most legendary live music venues: The Railway Club. You TOO can get up on its hallowed stage that has featured icons such as The Tragically Hip, kd lang, Radiohead, and many more! It's an epic night, so come on by. We're upstairs above the 7-eleven on the corner of Dunsmuir and Seymour, right by the downtown Vancouver BCIT campus (Granville Station SkyTrain).
Once again, we have a monthly theme, as we do. This one relates to any song or artist or album with something to do with the canine species: dogs, wolves, hounds, mutts, and howlin'... YOU GET THE IDEA! In Ancient Rome, the "dog days of summer" ran from July 24th to August 24th, so we'll just count it as the month of August and proceed accordingly.
Speaking of "counting" we'll even throw in a song or two from the breakthrough 90s album "August and Everything After" by the Counting Crows, and in honour of BC Day, maybe some songs from local boy Matt Good's album "Underdogs". Eh, it's a scraps kind of month and scraps are for the dogs... but then again, so are some temples!
As usual, we start at 9:30 and play until 12:30, spots are limited so signup here in advance!
