Event
Patience
A comic operetta about two poets and the groupies who love them, and Patience, a milkmaid who has never known love (yet). Performed semi-staged with full chorus and costumes.
Patience is considered the first of Gilbert and Sullivan's mature operettas, with more fully developed characters and absolutely gorgeous music. This is a great chance to see this charming operetta, performed only twice on October 3 as a fund-raiser for Troupers.
Directed by Marian Shulman, Music direction by Jim Cooper, Justine Macurdy, piano.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. On-line sales close 12 hours before the event.
