Spark Speak - Steff Geissbühler on the Art of Reinvention
Join us for a special event with legendary designer Steff Geissbühler, on why reinvention is essential for designers at every stage of their careers. Himself a master of reinvention, Steff is now in the process of reinventing himself again with his newly-launched solo practice.
Spark's Marc S Levitt will talk to Steff during what is sure to be a memorable evening of personal stories and insights.
Designer of some of the most memorable posters and definitive corporate-identity programs of the latter part of the 20th century, Steff Geissbühler recently founded geissbühler:design after six years as partner and principal of C&G Partners LLC, and 30 years in the same capacity at Chermayeff & Geismar, Inc.
In 2005 Steff was awarded the AIGA's Medal for his sustained contribution to design excellence and the development of the profession. He is also the recipient of the U.S. Federal Achievement Design Award, and several awards from the Art Director's Clubs and the International Poster Biennales. Steff served as the U.S. president of the Alliance Graphique Internationale and has been a member of the board of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. He is past president of AIGA's New York chapter.
Marc S Levitt is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of marketing and design agency MSLK, and had the honor of being hired by Steff upon Marc's graduation from design school.
