EDWARD SCISSORHANDS presented by Cult Classics & Zia Records
Tim Burton's haunting melancholy masterpiece Edward Scissorhands makes its way to The Royale for the final Cult Classics screening of 2011. Featuring Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, Anthony Michael Hall and the final screen appearance of film legend Vincent Price, Edward Scissorhands is a modern day take on the story of Pinnochio. Edward is an artificial boy given life by his creator except for a pair of his hands, but the creator passes away before he can replace Edward's scissors for human hands. He is taken in by a suburban family, but the longing in his heart for love is challenged by his inability to feel. Along the way, we discover the real reason why it snows.
