Ear to the Earth 2007: Exploding Ants and Other Stories
On Wednesday, October 17, at 8:30pm, EMF presents ecologist and award-winning National Geographic photographer Mark Moffett. Accompanied by sounds related to the locales of his photography, Moffett will tell the stories behind his photographs of animals and insects in Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Panama, California, Malaysia, Brunei, India, New Guinea, Australia, Gabon, Cameroon, and many other places. Swinging with ropes from jungle treetops to photograph monkeys, hiding behind rocks to photograph spiders and ants, his adventures are often thrilling, sometimes humorous, always captivating.
