Attention all Blues Music lovers! SunRex Entertainment Group in association with the Windsor Restaurant & Diner management present the unique monthly BLUES @ WINDSOR Concert and Dinner Experience that invites you celebrate life by keeping the music alive at the Windsor Restaurant & Diner, located at 1030 Raritan Rd in Clark, NJ. Acclaimed blues music artists bring to you a listening experience that promises to captivate on the second Thursday of each month at this elegant venue. The concert experience includes a choice of special and delcious barbeque style entrees, dessert and a beverage. Additional bar service is available.
The concert on Thursday, Dec 15, 2011 at 7pm features a special in demand performance by the Grammy-nominated
"Bluesman" and legendary "Blood Sweat & Tears" music group frontman Rob Paparozzi and his special guest artists.
New Jersey-based Rob Paparozzi has been a blues performer since 1967. But Rob is far from being strictly a blues musician. In fact, he's at home playing a wide range of music, ranging from rock to blues to jazz to pop. This versatility is reflected in the long and remarkably diverse list of major artists Rob has worked with, including B.B.King, Dr. John, Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston, Carole King, Roberta Flack, Culture Club, Cyndi Lauper, Randy Newman, Jimmy McGriff, and James Galway.
Rob toured the world with the "Original Blues Brothers Band", featuring guitar legend Steve Cropper and special guest Eddie Floyd from 2000 to 2007. Since 2005 to the present Rob is the Frontman-Singer for the legendary music group "Blood Sweat and Tears".
Rob's Broadway, movie, and television credits are also extensive, including: shows Big River and The Will Rogers Follies; films Flirting With Disaster and Ride; TV programs The Bill Cosby Show, CBS Early Show and the David Letterman Show including appearances in 2006 with Dolly Parton and George Jones on Conan O'Brien and David Letterman's LATE SHOW. TV Commercials and jingles for Scotch 3M BLUE tape, KFC, Pizza Hut, Maxwell House, Wendy's, Lincoln Mercury, Stouffers, Dodge, Ford, Coke, Pepsi, Dominos, Tylenol, etc. The bottom line is, even if you haven't heard of Rob Paparozzi before, you've probably heard and enjoyed his work!
Blues @ Windsor concert and dinner tickets are priced at $29.95 per person. Showtime is from 7pm to 9pm. Seating and dinner service starts at 6pm and continues during the program. The staff at the Windsor Diner welcomes you to this new and special monthly music concert and dinner event experience. The venue offers the perfect ambience for a relaxing monthly evening of good food and drink, good friends and listening pleasure and is conveniently located off of GSP Parkway Exit # 135.
