A filmed performance from Garsington's current production
A light-hearted wager spirals out of control when two young soldiers are persuaded to put their fiancées love to the test. Garsington Opera's free screening of Mozart's comic masterpiece features international star Lesley Garrett in a tale of wedding chaos, deception and duplicity.
This is part of the Opera for All programme and will be a relaxed performance featuring live performances by local schools before the film and during the interval, with activities for younger audience members happening throughout.
This event is free as part of the Looping the Loop festival of live performance, running 9 -18 October, in collaboration with Battersea Arts Centre and supported by Arts Council England and the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.
