MIRIAM BIRCH IN "IT'S ABOUT TIME"

Miriam Birch's "It's About Time" is a funny, heartfelt show that weaves together the subjects of time and her unusual double life as a singer and actress with her trailblazing career as a renowned Producer and Writer of television documentaries. It all takes place at The Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 2 PM as part of Les Michaels' Life Is A Cabaret Sunday Series. Beautifully sung and amusingly told with songs from the Great American Songbook, Broadway musicals, and films, with her special guest star is Raffi Mauro; and Musical Director, Ron Snyder.

Miriam Birch has lived an unusual double life with exciting dual careers. As an actress and singer she performed in stage musicals, clubs, on cruise ships, and on TV, most notably as a Mimsy the Mermaid in a long-running series. She also enjoyed an extremely successful career as Producer and Writer of many Emmy-winning documentaries, including specials for National Geographic Society Television, A&E, TLC, and The Cousteau Society, with assignments that took her on location to over 50 nations all over the world.

Miriam Birch has been performing in cabaret clubs around the Los Angeles area and It's About Time will mark her Palm Desert debut. Joining Ms. Birch at The Arthur Newman Theatre on Sunday, November 13th at 2 PM will be pianist Ron Snyder.
