Founded in 2008 by singer/songwriter Justin Trawick, "The 9 Songwriter Series" is a live music showcase based in Washington, DC and surrounding areas. Each installment features nine different solo singer/songwriters performing in rotation, providing audiences with a rich, intimate, varied listening experience. Where else can you hear almost 3wenty songs from nine different artists for $10? To date, over 50 different artists have participated in "The 9", at events in Washington, DC, Baltimore, Richmond, Philadelphia and New York
