Wheatland Chorale "Glad Tidings" Holiday Concert
The 2011 "Glad Tidings" Holiday Concerts feature J.S. Bach's "Magnificat", seasonal compositions by contemporary American, Canadian and British composers such as Mack Wilberg, Z.R. Stroope, Eleanor Daley, Stephen Hatfield, Peter Philips and John Rutter, a selection of traditional carols and a commissioned work, "Veni Emmanuel" by Douglas Weaver. The concerts will be presented in three separate venues in Berks, York and Lancaster counties throughout the weekend of December 9-11.
