A Salute to Jerry Lawson - Boise's Mayor of Music

A full lineup of Boise's best musicians deliver a musical tribute to Jerry Lawson, a Boise native who is well known for his support of live music.

A SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR IDAHO'S SONGWRITERS & FANS The Idaho Songwriters Association is blessed to have so many loyal members and supporters and nobody stands out like Jerry Lawson does. Jerry attends nearly every show and he has raised thousands of dollars for us by helping pass the tip jar. He also keeps himself entertained by enjoying live music many nights in our fair city. Many musicians have benefited from Jerry's friendship and generosity.

So.... a few months ago I had an idea to show Jerry how much we appreciate him by arranging a special concert in his honor. We asked musicians that Jerry loves to perform. They all enthusiastically agreed and we've put together a stellar lineup of musical talent for Jerry's special night.

And, yes, Jerry will be there sitting right up front with his friends and enjoying every moment. You won't want to miss "The Salute to Jerry Lawson" concert. It will be a night of music, fun and frolic as the ISA honors Boise's Mayor of Music and man-about-town. I hope to see you there! What a lineup!
