The Welcome - A benefit screening
Ahead of Veteran's Day, please join Homeward Bound of Marin for an acclaimed documentary about welcoming our veterans home. A Q&A with the filmmakers, movie participants and veterans will follow the screening of this 93-minute film, which offers a fiercely intimate view of the fear, isolation and anger of post-traumatic stress. Through the experiences of veterans and their families, the film shows how post-war ruins can be transformed into poetry and how all of us are part of "The Welcome." Winner of the Audience Award for Documentary at the 2011 Mill Valley Film Festival.
