Glass Armonica Workshop
An intimate, limited seating orientation to the Glass Armonica, invented in the 1700s by Benjamin Franklin. Ms. Drye, one of the few glass concert performers in the U.S., will demonstrate the inner workings of the instrument for those who would like a more hands-on approach.
This workshop is part of a two-day presentation of the Glass Armonica featuring an illustrated lecture by Professor Allison de Fren of Occidental College and a performance by Lynn Drye.
