Dr. Wolfgang Reisinger in Concert
Dr. Reisinger will present a concert in the grand acoustic of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, on the 62-rank Hendrickson pipe organ. This is a special event, as we have been able to bring Dr. Reisinger here as a stop on his American tour. In addition to some wonderful organ repertoire, a highlight of this concert will be the improvisations. Dr. Reisinger is a master of the art of improvisation, which involves the difficult feat of composing while playing. This concert will feature Dr. Reisinger's spontaneous new music, inspired by the space and instrument, and never to be heard again in the Cathedral.
Dr. Reisinger is an active concert artist, scholar, composer, educator, and church musician from Vienna, Austria.
