Requiem
Chor Leoni is pleased to present a special concert under the direction of Assistant Conductor Kevin Zakresky and featuring the rarely heard Requiem in D Minor by Luigi Cherubini. Written for men's voices and orchestra, the Requiem features soaring vocal lines and a sweeping orchestral score.EnChor Choir will open the evening with a performance of Benjamin Britten's mystical masterpiece for mixed choir and organ, Rejoice in the Lamb.
This concert marks the culmination of Kevin's doctoral studies in Choral Conducting at Yale University.
